Editorial Focus

Inlandia: A Literary Journey is the literary journal of Inlandia Institute, a literary nonprofit. The journal publishes two issues per year: Fall is open to all, but special consideration is given to those works or writers with a tie to the Inland Southern California Issue. Spring is guest-edited by a team of teen guest editors and features creative work in all genres exclusively by teens. Occasional special projects with a focus will publish on the blog or as standalone issues.

Tips From the Editor

Please be sure to read all guidelines. If you are not a teenager, do not submit to the spring all-teen issue. Anyone may submit for the consideration for the fall issue. All genres accepted, including art, poetry, nonfiction and fiction of all stripes. Watch the website for occasional special guest-edited issues, like one in 2023 dedicated to libraries and librarians.
