Author's Bio

JOHN CASEY is from New England and graduated from Florida State University with a Master of Arts in 1994. Casey's work has appeared in numerous literary journals, magazines, and online blogs. His first book, RAW THΦUGHTS, was released in the summer of 2019 by Adelaide Books (New York, Lisbon). RAW THΦUGHTS is a visceral, compelling, and mindful fusion of poetics and black and white film photography and was nominated for the National Book Award. Casey's first novel, titled DEVOLUTION and published in October 2019, is book one of a psychological spy thriller trilogy (also from Adelaide). DEVOLUTION is nominated for the 2020 IBPA Benjamin Franklin Award. EVOLUTION will be released in 2020 followed by REVELATION in 2021.  His writing is inspired by the incredible spectrum of people, places and cultures he has experienced throughout his life.
