Author's Bio

Joanie Puma was Night Life reporter and occasional Talk of the Town reporter for The New Yorker in the '70s and '80s.  Her writing has also appeared in Grand Street, Wigwag, Baseball Monologues (Heinemann Books) and The New York TimesLonging Distance: Poems of Love, Lust & Geography (Finishing Line Press) was published in 2018.  She lives in Santa Fe, NM, where it's about the sky, the light, un-dig-up-able garden dirt, and 10,000 other things.
