Author's Bio

Longing Distance: Poems of Love, Lust & Geography (Finishing Line Press) was published in 2018.  Before that, Joanie Puma was Night Life reporter and occasional Talk of the Town reporter for The New Yorker in the '70s and '80s.  Her fiction and non-fiction and drama have also appeared in Grand Street, Wigwag, Baseball Monologues (Heinemann Books) and The New York Times. She lives in New Mexico.
