Author's Bio

Besides my scientific writing (see below), my popular writing experience involves 10 years (2009-2019) as an advice columnist for the now defunct, American Angler magazine (Ask Dr. Trout column), in addition to several essays on fish biology and fishing in both Am. Angler and Alaska Magazine. My poetry has been published in Pearl, Truck, Athens Parent, Blood and Fire Review, Acorn, Midwest Poetry Review, Poetry Motel Wallpaper, Lilliput Review, Opus Literary Review, Cotton Gin, Feh, Night Roses, In Your Face, Brussels Sprout, The Old Red Kimono, and Mobius.
