Author's Bio

Drew Pisarra is the author of Periodic Boyfriends (2023) and Infinity Standing Up (2019), two collections of sonnets c/o Capturing Fire Press; You’re Pretty Gay (2021), a collection of short stories c/o Chaffinch Press; and Publick Spanking (1996), another collection of stories c/o Future Tense Books. His first radio radio play, The Strange Case of Nick M. (2021), was commissioned by Imago Theatre and debuted on K-BOO-fm. A literary grant recipient of both Café Royal Cultural Foundation and Curious Elixirs: Curious Creators, he is co-founder of Saint Flashlight, an art activation project that finds unique ways to get poetry into public spaces and has worked with the Poetry Society of America, Nitehawk Cinema, Theatre for a New Audience, and O, Miami among other institutions. He currently lives in Hell’s Kitchen in real life and at mistermysterio in the Twittersphere.
