Casandra Hernández Ríos received her MFA in Creative Writing, Fiction, from CSU Long Beach.

Her cuentos and poemas have appeared or are forthcoming in Azahares Literary Magazine, Litro Magazine, Voices de la Luna, Mystic Owl Magazine, The Acentos Review, Verdad magazine, and the Santa Ana River Review, among others.

Casandra was born in Ciudad de México, raised in Los Angeles, California, and now writes from Denver, Colorado.
