Author's Bio

Carolyn Agee is a Pushcart and Best of the Net nominated author, actress and spoken word performer living on the Puget Sound.

Her writing can be found in the anthology “The Art of Breaking Up” (Harper Design, an imprint of HarperCollins Publishers, 2020). Her books include “Drowning Ophelia” (Red Bird Chapbooks, 2017), and “Ever Silence Menacing” (Mount Analogue— Political Pamphlet Series, 2016).

Recently, her voice-over was heard in the mini-documentary "Be Adventurous, Creative, & Open-Minded", which premiered at last year's Sundance Film Festival as part of the HitRECord Live Labs Sanctioned Event.

She has lead Long-Form Improv workshops and has studied The Alexander Technique with Lauri Blouke Kain.

As a classically trained actress, Mx. Agee has appeared in many film and stage roles including Coral in the U.S. premiere of “Peeling”, which was nominated for an "Excellence in Performance as an Ensemble (Small Theaters)” Gypsy Rose Lee Award.

When she isn’t suffering from existential depression, she enjoys petrichor, unknown forest trails and intimate gatherings of kindred spirits.
