Author's Bio

Anne Marie Wells (she |they) is a queer, award-winning poet, playwright, and storyteller navigating the world with a chronic illness. She is a faculty member of the Community Literature Initiative, Strategic Partnership Fellow for The Poetry Lab, and Nonprofit Manager for The Adroit Journal. Her memoir, Happy Iceland, won the inaugural Wanderlust Travel Book Contest through Wild Dog Press and is slated for debut in December 2022. Her full-length collection of poetry, Survived By: A Memoir in Verse + Other Poems will debut in April 2023 through Curious Corvid Publishing.
