Author's Bio

Adelaide B. Shaw lives in Somers, NY. She has three children and six grandchildren. In 1969 she discovered haiku and other short form Japanese poetry and began writing poems in these forms. She has been published in numerous journals, in print and online, in the US and abroad. Mrs. Shaw also writes short fiction and children’s stories and has had over 80 stories published. Her first collection of Haiku, An Unknown Road, won 3rdplace in the Merit Book Award and is available as an e-book on Amazon; her second collection of haiku, The Distance I’ve Come, is available on Cyberwit and Amazon
