Author's Bio

Ryan Vine’s work has appeared in The American Poetry Review, Ploughshares, Verse Daily, The Minneapolis Star Tribune and on National Public Radio. His chapbook, Distant Engines (Backwaters Press, 2006), won a Weldon Kees Award and spent time on the Poetry Foundation’s contemporary best-seller list. Ryan received his M.F.A. from Emerson College, is associate professor of English, a member of the Honors faculty and the Rose Warner Professor at the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, MN.
