The program offers full funding. The program offers a full tuition waiver and a graduate teaching or research assistantship stipend.  Some students get a fellowship for their first year, which exempts them from teaching.

This program hosts the Visiting Writers Series and the Literary Northwest Series, and offers the Stone Award for Literary Achievement. MFA students also give monthly public readings of their work.
