Funding/Employment Opportunities: 

The program offers a full tuition waiver and a graduate teaching or research assistantship salary. Some scholarships and fellowships are available; there is no separate application.

Other Features: 

This program hosts the Visiting Writers Series, the Stone Award for Literary Achievement, and an annual Writer-in-Residence. EdFest, a biennial editorial festival, brings agents, editors, authors, and other professionals to campus to discuss topics such as publishing, literary citizenship, and career opportunities outside of teaching. MFA students also give monthly public readings of their work.
