John J. Casey

Author's Bio

John Casey is from New England and graduated from Florida State University with a Master of Arts in 1994. A 26-year Veteran, John served globally as a tactical airlift and developmental test pilot, and later as an international affairs strategist and diplomat in Germany and Ethiopia, and at the Pentagon. Casey's work has appeared in Into The Void Magazine, Remembered Arts Journal, Flumes Literary Journal, Anapest Journal, Pamplemousse, Sheila-Na-Gig, Coffin Bell, Adelaide Literary Magazine, and elsewhere. His first book, Raw Thoughts, will be published and released in July, 2019 by Adelaide Books (New York, New York). Raw Thoughts is a visceral, compelling, and mindful fusion of literary art and black and white film photography. His writing is inspired by the incredible spectrum of people, places and cultures he has experienced throughout his life.
