C.R. Harper completed studies in creative writing, film, and religion at the University of Southern California, fiction and poetry at the University of Cambridge, and editing through the University of Washington.

Representative fantasy and haiku works have appeared in multimedia, including: print, online journal, radio, podcast, videogame, cover art, and a bookstore gumball machine.
