A prize of $1,000 and publication in A Public Space is given annually for a work of flash fiction about teachers and school in which the protagonist or narrator is a K–12 teacher. Using only the online submission system, submit a story of 6 to 499 words with a $5 entry fee by September 1. There is no entry fee for members of the Academy for Teachers.
