A prize of $5,000 is given annually for a book of poetry translated from an Asian language into English and published in the previous year. Translations of Zen Buddhist source texts are also eligible. Publishers may submit a poetry collection translated from Chinese, Hindi, Japanese, Korean, Sanskrit, Tamil, Thai, or Vietnamese into English and published in 2017 by April 16. There is no entry fee.
