Alabama State Council on the Arts

Approximately two fellowships of $5,000 each are given annually to poets, fiction writers, and creative nonfiction writers who have lived in the state of Alabama for at least two years. Using only the online submission system, submit 10 to 20 pages of poetry or prose and a résumé including a list of publications by March 1. There is no application fee.
