A prize of AUD $5,000 (approximately $3,610) is given annually for a story. A second-place prize of AUD $3,000 (approximately $2,170) and a third-place prize of AUD $2,000 (approximately $1,440) are also given. The winners will be published in Australian Book Review. Maxine Beneba Clarke, John Kinsella, and Beejay Silcox will judge.
