The Contemporaries

Hey, Friends,

I am Bolivar T. Caceres, a Latin writer and visual artist from the Bronx, New York. My poetry has been published in Literary magazines and a chapbook. You can learn more about me at Anyway, I want to keep this introduction short and sweet. I created this writing group to connect with writers and to have a comfortable place where we can present and critique our work, and discuss literature and publication. I see it as a writer's roundtable, and we are the Contemporaries of the Round.

This writing group is a short-formed writing group, meeting for two hours bi-weekly on Wednesdays. We primarily accept poets. For fiction writers, if you're accepted, we ask that you read a max of 1000 words per meeting. We have other members who may want to read and receive feedback.

If you're interested in a bi-weekly virtual writing group, sign up. You can come with a piece to present, ask questions, or hang out (although we may challenge you to share your work eventually.) The objective is to connect, grow, and learn! We meet bi-weekly on Wednesdays, 6 PM.

We have 3 seats left!

I can't wait to meet you and write to you!

Be well, keep writing, and we'll talk soon!

Bless, Bolivar T. Caceres
