For the New York Times video series The Read Around, novelist Helen Oyeyemi discusses the curious power fairy tales have and how they influence our conception of beauty. Her fifth novel, Boy, Snow, Bird, inspired by the story of Snow White, was published earlier this year by Riverhead Books.
