Editorial Focus

We are open to many literary themes and poetic forms & styles. Never really pigeonholed ourselves to one market. We enjoy the succinct, the startling, and the sublime. Some humor will keep us turning pages. We will root for intimate characters & their relationships with whomever/whatever. Lastly, we are proud to publish a majority of debut authors in any capacity

Our preferences do not include straightforward genre fiction, erotica, and anything too niche or far-fetched. We are not a market for plays, screenwriting, academic articles, and art books.

Tips From the Editor

We host our Wavelengths Chapbook Contest in the first few months of the calendar year. Normally read subs in ascending order, so the earlier you submit, the quicker response.

We host our open manuscript period in the summer. For 2022, we will be accepting manuscripts for 2023 & 2024. If you have a project that you're still working on, send us a proposal for a later release. Above all else, make sure we won't forget your name.
