Editorial Focus

Serving House Books is an international book press founded in Denmark and the U.S. by Walter Cummins / Thomas E. Kennedy and now run by William K. Lawrence. The editorial focus is on international perspectives through high quality literary novels and collections of short fiction, poetry, and essays. The annual Thomas E. Kennedy Novel Award is dedicated in the memory of cofounder, and an annual short story collection award is now dedicated in honor of the retired cofounder Walter Cummins.
