Tips From the Editor
Editors are looking for poems that are immersive rather than merely declarative. Strong poems create an experience the reader can enter. They suggest, reveal, and resonate without explaining every meaning or telling the reader exactly what to feel. The best work leaves room for readers to bring something of themselves to the poem, allowing meaning to deepen through that exchange. Stories, both fiction and non-fiction should have a beginning and an end, be resonate and entertaining all the way through.
