Editorial Focus

Conundrum publishes poetry, fiction, and creative nonfiction — both essay and long-form works — primarily from authors who live in the Rocky Mountain region. As we branch out from poetry into other literature, we’re looking for thoughtful, provocative, and lucid writing that tells a compelling story.

Tips From the Editor

Please only send submissions to submissions@samizdatgroup.com. We will only consider complete manuscripts. Poets, we are also primarily interested in neo-formal poetry--we probably won't accept experimental or avant garde poetry. Short story and essay collections should be at least 80 pages (250 words/page). If you live within 100 miles of a state with Rocky Mountains in it, we will consider you.
