Editorial Focus

Black Scat Books is a small, independent, not-for-profit press dedicated to publishing sublime art and literature, i.e. eccentric art and obscure texts, absurdist fiction, experimental visions, and works in translation. Their innovative Absurdist Texts & Documents series features works designed to disrupt, disorient, and smash boundaries—academic, cultural, literary, and philosophical. They are particularly interested in translations of works by French avant-garde writers.
