Ashland Creek Press is a small, independent publisher of books for a better planet. Its mission is to publish a range of books that foster an appreciation for worlds outside our own, for nature and the animal kingdom, and for the ways in which we all connect. Ashland Creek Press also publishes books for writers, including Writing for Animals and Animal Writes, and offers classes and programs on writing for animals and the natural world.

Please read our submission guidelines and study our current titles to get a feel for what we publish. In all genres, we focus on the environment and animal protection. We do not publish poetry or books for children. Unfortunately, we’re not able to respond to any material submitted outside our submission periods.
