Editorial Focus

The A3 Press publishes work that is lyrical and intense, a bit weird, perhaps, hybrid, experimental. Prose, poetry, illustration, photography and comics that are urgent and say something about what it's like to be alive at this point in history.

Our first five titles were published in March 2019. All A3 Press titles have our signature A3 map-fold format. That's 42 x 29.7cm (approx 16.5" x 11.5").

Tips From the Editor

We encourage you to visualise how you work will appear in our A3 map-fold format. Do consider the format of our publications when sending us work. Our chapbooks will look like maps, so you might want to send us work structured around a journey, or work about getting lost (or found). Each chapbook has about 14 panels, some of which may be taken up by images. If you have work that divides well into 12 sections, we want to see it! A series of 12 sonnets, for example, or a story told in 12 chapters?
