American Book Review is an internationally distributed publication that publishes six times a year. It specializes in reviews of frequently neglected works of fiction, poetry, and literary and cultural criticism from small, regional, university, ethnic, avant-garde, and women’s presses. For over thirty years, ABR has focused on the overlooked literary world.
Review copies may be sent in to the editor-in-chief for consideration to the postal address below. Both galleys and finished copies are accepted. If your book is selected for review and the review is published (all reviews are vetted by our editors and not necessarily accepted for publication), you can access a digital copy of the review through Project Muse.
