Tips From the Editor:

AKINOGA PRESS IS NOT CURRENTLY OPEN FOR SUBMISSIONS
The tentative next open consideration period will be October/November 2026

For the foreseeable future, akinoga press will be holding open consideration periods as opposed to open reading periods. As such, the press is not looking for manuscripts as submissions. Instead, I want to know about your projects/concepts.

Please do not pitch novels. As a one-person operation, I unfortunately do not have the necessary time or uninterrupted attention to dedicate to publishing a novel, so please cap the projects you are pitching to 70,000 words.

Titles per Year:
1 to 5
Editorial Focus:

akinoga press is a Baltimore-based micro press that specialzes in hand-bound chapbooks of a spacious/minimalist/austere flavor, though on the lookout for anything small, quiet, odd, easily-missed, and a hundred percent needs to be read.
