Past master lecturers from the former full residency program have included Mark Richard, Kali Fajardo Anstine, Amy Hempel, Major Jackson, Mitchell S. Jackson, Mary Gaitskill, Carmen Maria Machado, Francine Prose, Jim Shepard, and many more.
The Master Lecture Series brings visiting writers to the program for evenings of lecture and literary conversation. St. Joseph’s University also hosts the Brooklyn Voices series of lectures, forums, performances, and public discussions.
The deadline is March 1 to start the summer residency, and October 1 to start the winter residency. Applications submitted after priority deadline will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
