The 2025 Cape Cod Writers Center Conference was held from July 31 to August 3 at the Emerald Resort/Cape Cod Irish Village hotel in Hyannis, Massachusetts. The conference featured workshops in poetry, fiction, and creative nonfiction; an agent panel; and manuscript consultations with faculty. The faculty included poet Sam Cha; fiction writers Tim Horvath and Kayleigh Shoen; fiction and creative nonfiction writers Angie Chatman and Javed Rezayee; and creative nonfiction writer Jennifer Crystal. Radio host Mindy Todd delivered the keynote address. Participating publishing professionals included agents Steven Hutson (WordWise Media), Mason Rowlee (DeFiore & Company), and Lauren Scovel (Laura Gross Literary Agency). General registration was $80 and included a yearlong membership to the Cape Cod Writers Center (registration was free for current members). Writers could stay at the Emerald Resort/Cape Cod Irish Village hotel at a nightly rate of $200 or at other hotels in the area. Tuition for a three-session two-hour workshop was $180; the cost was $140 for a two-session workshop and $75 for a one-session workshop. Manuscript consultations were available for an additional $180. The general registration deadline was July 25. The deadline to register for a manuscript consultation was July 18.
