Aspen Literary Festival

The Aspen Literary Festival, sponsored by Aspen Words and presented by Book of the Month, was held from September 26 to September 28 in multiple venues in downtown Aspen, Colorado. Programming included panels, moderated conversations with fiction and creative nonfiction writers, and onsite bookstores. Participating writers included fiction writers James Frey, Bonnie Garmus, Xochitl Gonzalez, Jane Hamilton, Patti Callahan Henry, Elin Hilderbrand, Nathan Hill, Kristin Koval, Kevin Kwan, Victor LaValle, Walter Mosley, Brendan Nicholaus Slocumb, and Jess Walter; fiction and creative nonfiction writer Adriana Trigiani; and creative nonfiction writers Sebastian Junger and Michael Lewis. Tickets cost $45 per event. Some events were free and open to the public. Registration was accepted on a rolling basis. Visit the website for more information.
