Editorial Focus
BAUXITE is an independent literary magazine based in Arkansas. They serve to uplift the underdog; that is, to hand a megaphone to small but powerful literary voices from all across the world and give them a chance to speak through their work. They don’t mind getting their hands dirty—hard not to when living in some of the most rural, poverty-stricken areas of America.
Tips From the Editor
Check the submissions page for the upcoming issue’s theme, and make it at least somewhat sound like the work being submitted is cared about. The little things mean a lot.
