Bull City Press has a passion for the unusual, the surprising, and the arresting, but what we love most is the miracle of compression. It publishes chapbooks and occasionally full-length books of poetry, fiction, and creative nonfiction, as well as the quarterly journal Inch, which highlights the work of a single writer in each issue.

We believe in the integrity of the small collection. Send us the wondrous project that refused to become a full-length, the curious obsession that you followed to early exhaustion, the small book that resists easy classification. We are looking to publish something distinct from the books we worked on last year. We are looking to be surprised and delighted by an electrifying voice and a set of stunning formal choices.
