Social Time begins at 6:00pm CST, and the conversation runs from 6:30 – 7:30pm. Please join us. Larksong Writers Place, 1600 N. Cotner Blvd., Lincoln, NE  531-254-5513.

Bob Ross is the author of Billy Above the Roofs and Karla or The Weight Liftress, two short novels, published by Stephen F. Austin State University Press. He has authored two poetry collections and a book of essays called In the Kingdom of Grass. Now retired, Bob has taught college English in six western states. His writing reflects the small-town culture of the Sandhills region of Nebraska, where he grew up and as an adult in Brown County, Nebraska.

Henry Zander is an interdisciplinary artist working in poetry, performance, music, photography, wood carving, and dance. Born, raised and currently residing in Lincoln, he serves on the board of the Lincoln Zen Center, and on staff at the Angel City Zen Center in Los Angeles, and gives regular talks at both centers. His work primarily wrestles with the writing process, Buddhist practice, and trying to be a good person. He's currently working on a book of sonnet crowns that spans a great breadth of topics, from necromancers all the way to supermarket sweep.
