The Windhover Writers’ Festival was held from February 19 to February 21 at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in Belton, Texas. The programming included workshops, faculty readings, panels, and social events for poets, fiction writers, and nonfiction writers. Visiting writers included poet Dana Gioia, fiction writer Katy Carl, and nonfiction writer Daniel Bowman Jr. The cost of registration, which included meals, was $90 ($60 for students). Lodging at the conference hotel was available at a nightly rate of $145. Writers registered by January 31. Visit the website for more information.
