MASS MoCA Writing Through Art Poetry Retreat

MASS MoCA Writing Through Art will be held from October 8 to October 13 in North Adams, Massachusetts. Programming includes generative workshops, exercises, discussions, time to write, and readings for poets. Residents also receive a one-on-one consultation with poet and editor Jan Freeman and have access to the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art, the Clark Art Institute, and the Williams College Museum of Art. The retreat provides residents with lodging across the street from MASS MoCA in a private bedroom with a shared bathroom and kitchen. The cost of the retreat is $1,650. Financial assistance is available on a first come, first served basis. To apply, submit three poems of any length and a statement of interest by August 1. There is no application fee.
