Author's Bio

Andrew Rihn is a mutli-genre boxing writer.

He is the author of Revelation: An Apocalypse in Fifty-Eight Fights (Press 53, 2020), a collection of prose poetry about Mike Tyson, and O Hungry Star (Beir Bua Press, 2021), an avant garde language experiment based on a Conor McGregor pre-fight interview.

From 2019-2021, Andrew wrote The Pugilist, a monthly boxing column for Into the Void magazine, where he also served as poetry editor. From 2022-2025 he served as an assistant prose poetry editor for Pithead Chapel. His essays have appeared in the Cleveland Review of Books, The Public Domain Review, and The Saturday Evening Post, as well as multiple boxing sites, including The Fight City, Fights Around the World, and The Spit Bucket.

His next book is a collection of pulp-genre short stories, Aboard the Old Buoy, forthcoming from Cornerstone Press. Andrew lives in Canton, OH.
