Arya F. Jenkins is a poet and writer whose poetry has been published in Agave Magazine, Blue Heron Review, The Ekphrastic Review, The Feminist Wire, Hawaii Pacific Review, Jerry Jazz Musician, The MacKinaw, Rag Queen Periodical, Sinister Wisdom, and other publications. Her poetry reviews have been published in Cider Press Review, RHINO, Vol. 1, Brooklyn, and other literary magazines. Her flash fiction, short stories and CNF have been featured in About Place Journal, Anti-Heroin Chic, Cleaver Magazine, Fictive Dream, The Feminist Wire, The Nonconformist Magazine, Sinister Wisdom and many other publications. Her poetry, CNF and fiction have appeared in more than a dozen anthologies, most recently in Kinds of Cool, An Interactive Collection of Jazz Poetry, Vol. 1, Edited by Joe Maita. Her poetry has been nominated for the Pushcart Prize and the Best of the Net Anthology. Her fiction has also received several nominations for the Pushcart Prize and the Best of the Net Anthology. She is the author of four poetry chapbooks, the most recent of which is Singing in the Dark (Alien Buddha Press), a collection of short stories, Blue Songs in An Open Key (Fomite), and a novel, Punk Disco Bohemian (NineStar Press).
