Author's Bio

Angel Favazza is a #1 bestselling Amazon author, Indie Book Award winner, and internationally bestselling poet. She writes Young Adult speculative fiction that fuses steampunk, sci-fi, and horror with themes of philosophy, environmentalism, and pop culture. Her acclaimed titles include The Curse of the Scarlet Scarab, The Oculist's Daughter, Saving Death, and Canine Chronicles. Her poetry and short fiction have appeared in numerous literary magazines and anthologies, including The Best American Science Fiction & Fantasy.

A Michigan-based writer and educator, Favazza holds a Master’s in Teaching and has over 30 years of experience teaching AP English Literature and Honors Writing. She is the founder of Teaching with Poetry and the creator of the innovative poetry form “Line Messaging,” now used by poets and university professors across the country. Whether in the classroom or on the page, Favazza is committed to exploring identity, language, and the enduring power of story.
