Author's Bio

I am an architectural woodcarver and have written three books on the subject and three dozen articles on woodworking.  I have written a newspaper column on country living (The Homeplace), journalistic pieces (Artisan educating Architect), reviews for Dover Publications, and The Nelson County Garden Club: The First Fifty Years, 1935-1985.  I live in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia with my wife and family.
