Author's Bio

Andrew Sofer grew up in Cambridge, England, and studied at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Boston University, and the University of Michigan. A noted theatre historian, he has received national awards for both poetry and criticism. His books include two works of criticism, The Stage Life of Props (U of Michigan P, 2003) and Dark Matter: Invisibility in Drama, Theatre, and Performance (U of Michigan P, 2013), as well as a book of poems, Wave (Main Street Rag, 2010). He teaches in the English Department at Boston College.
