Steven Wingate is the author of three titles in the University of Nebraska Press Flyover Fiction Series: the collection Mercy and Debris (forthcoming March 2027) and the novels The Leave-Takers (2021) and Of Fathers and Fire (2019). His debut collection Wifeshopping was published by Houghton Mifflin Harcourt in 2008.
