The program hosts the Visiting Writers Series. In addition, the university offers resources for research, including the Gunn Center for the Study of Science Fiction; the History of Black Writing Project, which is currently being digitized; and the second-largest collection of Irish literature outside of Dublin at the Spencer Library and Archives.
