The program also offers concentrations in young adult fiction and speculative fiction, and single semester studies in scriptwriting, graphic narrative, and picture books. Single semester studies also offer an editing mentorship with Rebecca McEwen, a teaching mentorship with Rachel Weaver, and a publishing internship with Switchback Books.

Students attend two nine-day residencies each year, in January and July, at the Regis University campus in Denver. The program also offers an optional summer residency in the Aran Islands in Ireland.

The application deadline is October 15 for the January residency and May 1 for the July residency.
