The program offers limited scholarships and federal financial aid.
The program’s leadership includes graduate program director Dr. Jen McClanaghan and founding director Ann Hood.
Visiting faculty from a variety of genres join each residency as well as publishers, agents, and editors. Students attend two residencies each year, in January and June, in Newport, Rhode Island.
The application deadline is November 15 to start with the January residency and March 1 for the June residency. If you are interested in applying after the deadline, contact Destenie Vital, assistant director of admissions.
