The program embraces commercial genre fiction (science fiction, fantasy, horror, crime, young adult & more) and literary experimentation equally. It has no peer review workshops—instead it offers professional editorial feedback in a masterclass setting, supported by extensive one-to-one mentoring. Further professional development options such as teaching, community engagement, and digital publishing are embedded within the course. Additionally, the full-time MA program has an articulation agreement with the low-residency MFA in Popular Fiction at Seton Hill University.
