Funding/Employment Opportunities: 

The program offers a tuition discount of $300 for each residency and each semester to all students. In addition, the Alpha Omicron Rho chapter of the English Honor Society Sigma Tau Delta offers graduate level scholarships.

Two student employment positions support co-curricular learning in teaching practicums and publishing practicums.

Students attend two residencies each year, an eight-day residency in January and an eleven-day residency in June, at the Dominican University of California campus in San Rafael. Students are also invited to attend monthly writing workshops either on campus or online.

The program also offers a track in narrative/poetic medicine.

The program offers summer writing retreat opportunities in Portugal and Ireland.

The application deadline is December 2 for the January residency and May 1 for the June residency.
