The program offers partial funding. The program offers five graduate assistantships and partial tuition scholarships for enrolled students.

This program offers an MA or MFA degree in creative writing and publishing; MA students can apply to the MFA after two quarters. A new online degree option will allow enrolled students to complete their degrees either partially or fully online. The program also offers publishing internships and the option to complete a certificate in Teaching English in Two-Year Colleges. MFA students are required to complete a creative thesis.

Most full-time students finish in two years, but part-time students have up to six years from admission to complete the degree.

Admissions are made on a rolling basis; applications are due ten weeks before the start of each academic quarter. The application deadline for funding consideration is January 15.
