Tips From the Editor
The editors encourage interested authors to read previous issues of Waccamaw before submitting. At Waccamaw we are many, evolving. We crave work that is honest and impacts us, invites us into a space of vulnerability. We value sincerity, defamiliarization, and unexpected circumstances. We seek diversity of race, culture, class, sexuality, gender identity, philosophy, religion, and experience. We love language play and concision. We encourage flash, short-short, and hybrid forms. Visual appeal matters in both poetry and prose. We want your real. We want your fabulous.
